Concrete Bases

Stable Bases • American Barn Bases

Quality concrete bases laid for your wooden buildings to be sited on.

We use a RC35 Concrete Mix with added fibres for strength and a urine resistant additive. We use K Forms as an expansion joint for longevity as opposed to wood, (which will rot in time).

We install concrete dished drains during the construction of the base which take the water away from the yard and integrated removable silt buckets. During the construction of the base, ducting for mains services is also laid.

Once the Concrete Base is completed, a single course of engineering bricks is then laid for your building to be sited on, this acts as a dampcourse and helps further protect the timber frame of the buildings.

Horse Walker Bases

Concrete Bases laid ready for your Horse Walker and equestrian arena surfaces to be installed.

Please see our progress photos of how we construct a Stable/American Barn Base in our gallery.
